    Cookie Policy

    Effective date: 26 May 2026

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar tracking technologies are used on seanweisbrot.com, why they are used, and how you can control them.

    1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the website (or third-party services embedded in it) to remember information about your visit. Similar technologies such as local storage and session storage work in the same way and are covered by this policy.

For details on Google's cookies, see policies.google.com/technologies/cookies.

    3. Why these cookies are used

    • Analytics — to understand how visitors find and use the Site, which content performs well, and how outbound links (e.g. to SparkVox) convert. This helps me create better content and fix issues.
    • Consent storage — to remember that you have already made a cookie choice so you are not shown the banner on every visit.
    • Embedded video — YouTube cookies are set automatically when a page containing an embedded video is loaded.

    4. Legal basis

Under UK/EU GDPR, analytics cookies require your consent before being set. The cookie banner displayed on your first visit gives you the option to accept or decline. If you decline, PostHog tracking will not be activated.

    5. How to manage or withdraw consent

You can manage your cookie preferences in the following ways:

    • Cookie banner — on your first visit, use the "Accept" or "Decline" buttons. You can reset your preference by clearing your browser's local storage or clicking the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
    • Browser settings — most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies via their settings. Note that blocking all cookies may affect how the Site functions.
    • PostHog opt-out — PostHog provides a global opt-out at posthog.com/privacy.

    6. Changes to this policy

I may update this Cookie Policy when new technologies are added or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top reflects the latest revision.
